Student Video Contest

Thanks for visiting Los Angeles School Board Member Tamar Galatzan’s Student Video Contest site! This year, LAUSD faces an unprecedented budget crisis. While adults are making the decisions that impact our youth, student concerns are often unheard. Tamar launched this contest to give students a voice, asking “How will the budget cuts affect you?” What we got in return was a fresh perspective, expressed through the creative talents of elementary, middle, and high school students. Check out these student videos, and vote for your favorite one! The winning contestant will get a $5,000 prize to make improvements at his or her school and tickets to a Chivas USA Pro-Soccer game for every student who attends the school!
