Welcome to Tamar's Website

For over two years, it has been my honor to represent over 100 schools that span most of the San Fernando Valley.  During that time I have met many extraordinary parents, students, teachers, and administrators who each in his or her own way make our schools better. As an LAUSD Board member, it is my job to encourage and support their efforts.

I attended Birmingham High School, and it was there that I developed an interest in government and public service. It makes me both proud and a bit nostalgic when I meet students today who are similarly inspired to pursue their studies in a field or discipline of their choosing.
